Busted!
It was quite a hectic Sunday for me. I forgot to take my "brunch" and went to GameScore. JL and Thomas were there, both playing Phantom Kingdom and Digital Devil Saga respectively. Well, it turned out my trip was infutile as Thomas wanted my game save for Onimusha 3 and I only have the Japanese version. ^^" Talked to JL for a while then was on the way to China Square.
Along the way to Funan, Valentine asked me to join him for a trip to China Square. For those who are into collectibles and vintage toys, China Square has become the next "The Arcade @ Clarke Quay". Most of the shops that were in Clarke Quay moved over there. Well, Valentine was looking for the Full Metal Alchemist Chimakore Collection 2 and Bleach Chimakore Collection. We went to the Goober Toys stall and found the FMA gashapons while the Bleach gashapons were out of stock. Then Valentine decided to go to La Tendo(-_-") to try his luck there. There, he got what he wanted and bought 3 sets pf gashapons. The La tendo staffs were having high tea...well munching Rotiboy breads(Erm...the whole shop full of coffee scent...). We had the infamous Fried Wanton Mee for dinner there and talked about matters happening around the community. Well, I didn't know that Sky was actually his cousin's friend. I had always thought that they got to know each other in secondary school.
Next, we went to Takashimaya as Valentine needed to get his windbreaker for the trip to Australia. Well, we were attached to the Men Bazaar that was in Basement 2. Damn, it was also the last day and we wished we knew about it earlier. Valentine went on a shopping spree and got himself 4 U2's long-sleeved shirts and a Timberland jacket. He spent a while trying and asking for my opinions. I also got myself a cheap long-sleeved shirt($9!). Then we went to Level 4 to look at his windbreaker. He got himself a full set of New Balance windbreaker and pants. But here's the embarrasing part, his cards were declined as he busted his account balance by buying the shirts below. Luckily, the staffs were kind enough to keep the items for him till he goes back today to pick them up. We were shocked over what happened. I always thought he has a "bottomless" bank account...LOL... :P
Back at home, I was tired and had a headache. After popping in a Panadol tablet, I went to sleep. A boring ending to this entry right? LOL! (^^,)>>
