Merry Xmas 2008
Got to post this before the day's over. Actually celebrated it with zX and Archz at Singapore River drinking beer. A round of applause for zX as he finally managed to finish ONE can of beer. And he suddenly became amusement for us.
Firstly, he started to laugh uncontrollably. Then he started seeing things and hearing things. Like he keep saying his fingers were stained but actually there were nothing on it. But I didn't expect him to be fully drunk as he could still walk and analyze things. Disaster always struck at the last moment. As we got on the train back home, he kept complaining of feeling unwell, hot and having a headache. He kept lowering his body which is pretty bad if you are drunk. Soon enough, he started to vomit in the train onto his uniform. Then he started to shiver like he was having cold turkey. The mess was still manageable but I heard from Archz that he vomited a second time at Sembawang which cost Archz's uniform as well...lol.
Everyone has to go through this if they want to drink. Haha. Merry Xmas to all I know and a Happy New Year ahead of us. Hope we will pass through the ordeal and recession!!!

The More The Merrier
It's been a while since the guys started their 1st formal work at Newstead and I believe they had learnt something new about themselves. For example, Sihao's glib tongue can actually be used for a good cause and Zhengxian learns to be more aggressive and confident. Seems they are enjoying their work life as they met and learned how to handle different kinds of people and finally realise how to value money. As for me, I get to see them much for dinner and chitchat and for a new start, a better bond to the shop.
Huxley just came back from Hong Kong and brought back some clothes as souvenirs. Thanks for the shirt, Huxley. I will be wearing it for the weekend. LOL. And by the way, it's hi to Jimmy! Yo! So nice of you to drop by my humble blog!! ^^ Hope we will meet up much!
I feel like playing World Of Warcraft but I am pretty much torn between whether to play with who. Edmund is in Nagrand, Sihao might be inside a private server while Leon is in Frostmourne. I really don't feel justified to play a MMO alone and yet pay a certain amount monthly. Just like the genre of the game, it's fun to play with others. World Of Warcraft is worth to get back into but I will miss my Tauren Male Druid.
Christmas is coming in 5 days time and then a brand new year. I have made some plans for the new year and I hope I can establish a certain goal within 2 months. One look at the weighing machine proved fatal. 80Kg. I guess it takes a miracle... ^^

First Day On The Job
Today, things turned out to be wonderful to Zhengxian. Not only he finally got the parts to assemble his new computer, he managed to get his 1st proper job together with Sihao. They will be working with Newstead, a company that I'm familiar with as the shop sells software to them. Well, they did a one day job weeks back but I doubted they will get any proper working experience there since it's just stocktaking. I feel that Zhengxian might be easy on the job since he is a geek on computer stuffs while Sihao is a newbie to it. But don't we learn how to walk? LOL
Kinda bring me back to the time when I was forced to look for a job. Which was my 1st job. Holidays came and the folks at home didn't want me to stay at home and waste time so I had to look for a job. At that time, I didn't know the possible ways to look for one and relied on the papers. I was looking for vacancy in a gameshop which of course didn't happen at that time. Out of desperation and a slight burst of interest, I set foot into Lawman. Yup, the company that did the infamous 'soft' jeans. And it was a roller coaster ride.
Being a quiet person, I went through a hard time communicating with customers and of course my colleagues. But there was something in me that brought the change finally. I love to watch people. As in watching how they react and speak thus mimicking them or absorbing their traits and improvise. And the stay at Lawman didn't just become a school holiday event, it became a profession. Till that day when that crazy event happened, I bid farewell to Lawman. But I learned a lot from the experience. Actually, in fact, I got invited back when they were having manpower shortage. I refused since I was getting paid 'peanuts'.
Looks like I will have some accompany on the way to work and back. Just hope that they get stationed at Funan. I wonder how they will look in the uniforms... (^o^)>>

Sweet Sixteen
To me, it's a memory. The time when everything is fresh and new and you are the most daring to try out new things. The period of time where we did our 1st time in certain things. To this guy, it's a ticket to be able to play pool without being inspected for underage entry.
Well, on Monday, we celebrated Zhengxian's and Edmund's 16th and 17th birthday respectively at Downtown East. It was a day which Zhengxian had been anxiously waiting. My gift would be a surprise to him and I believe he would enjoy his stay there. Other than my Wii being a top favourite at the premise, the accompany of his good friends wouldn't be any better. Jimmy and Qinghua managed to stay for one day and night and I have to say Jimmy is a natural of being entertaining. Other being a commentator at the BBQ, he played Wii Baseball in a way I thought he was playing table tennis. It is always nice to see him being supportive and jovial on the event.
The next day, Wild Wild Wet awaits us. It was my 1st time there and I feel it loses way out than the former Fantasy Island on Sentosa. The rides there are kinda designed for the faint-hearted except for one, it gives the thrill of a roller coaster ride. And I am beginning to regret going there as well as I got myself a bad sunburn. I supposed I baked myself for too long during the Sky Ride with Jimmy. We went 2 turns while the rest did once.
After returning home on the 3rd day, I received a call from Zhengxian stating how surprised he was when he opened my gift. Well, I got him a mouse he was planning to get. Then we were supposed to meet up later but it never happened since everyone was tired.
I hope you have enjoyed your Sweet Sixteen as much as I do, Zhengxian. We will do a better job for Sihao's next year!!! Y(^^)Y
