Dreams...
I have always wondered why do we have dreams or even nightmares. Well, I can say I don't have nightmares much but just strange dreams. Dreams that have totally no relations to me at all. The funny thing about dreams is that you wouldn't be able to remember what happened much. People say that dreams can foretell what's going to happen in the future or just an memory flashback that went abnormal. Some even say that dreams are the mirrors of reality...in other words, what you dreamt could be the reverse of what happened in real life.
This dream I had last night was like the usual strange dreams I had but tends to be more..."realistic" and I could remember what happened. It started out of me in total darkness. There was not a single trace of light at all. I couldn't see what was ahead of me but I walked around in that darkness. Then I sensed of a familiar aura behind me.(
Yes....my "6th sense" acting up in a dream...) I started to turn back but before I could see what's behind me, I lost all feelings with the ground. Yup....
FREEFALL......For a strange reason, I wasn't terrified over what just happened. It's more like...I was anticipating it to happen. I just kept falling and it seemed there was no end. Then I suddenly stretched out my right arm as though I was reaching out for something in the total darkness. A dot of light started to appear in the far distance. Then it grew bigger and bigger. As I get closer to the light, I could see an array of some unknown letters around the circle of light. I passed through the circle and what happened next still amazes me now.
The first thing that crossed my mind was that whether I was in Heaven. Clouds. And for a even strange reason, I wasn't falling at all but floating. I suddenly realised that I was dreaming as what happened to me so far was incredible. I even tried to force myself awake. But nothing was working. Now I started to feel a bit terrified. Clouds were around me and I didn't know what to do. Then I had the weird idea of trying to "swim" around. Moved a bit. It didn't take me for long till I got tired. My mind was thinking "Move...move..." then miraculously I moved. I stopped the moment I realised I was moving. So this was the gist here. Mindpower.
Just like Peter Pan, I started to fly around the clouds. I think I did a couple of stunts here and there. Then I decided to dive straight down to see what was below the clouds. I saw land and a massive river. I landed near the river and saw an shiny structure that looked like a castle in the distant. The river looked crystal clear from the distant and I decided to take a closer look. I realised I was also different as well. The reflection in the river showed a much fitter and darker me. And behind me was a set of pure white wings. I was sort of an angel. I was blinking my eyes at the sight then I heard someone calling out behind me.
"Huh? You're back already?"It was a female voice. I started to turn and I blinked my eyes. The moment I opened my eyes, I was awake. I looked at my ceiling for a while. Thinking that it was one of my strange dreams, I went back to sleep. I rested my arm over my stomach and it felt different. Kinda like thinner and had couple of humps on it.
The moment I woke up, I looked at myself in the mirror. Nothing different. Still the same old me. Well, it seems like a imaginary story I cooked up but then it was real. What could this dream mean?
