So Long, and Thanks For All the Fish
I just came back from Orchard, watching this show called Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I can tell you that it's freaking funny and it's totally out of this world. One of the characters in the movie plays a major role in giving me laughing workout is Marvin.
(But nobody listens anyway....)Marvin is a prototype robot built with a technology called "Genuine People Personalities" or GPP in short and has a brain that's "a size of a planet". But the shortcoming of him is that he's kinda deeply depressed as he seldom gets a chance to use his knowledge.
(But nobody cares anyway...)Other than him, the show has many other amusing elements such as the sperm whale, the missing dolphins and of course...the mices. Earth can be destroyed and rebuilt again as in the movie "Earth MK-II". And not to forget the poor crabs that always get squashed or pounded to death. The doors that sigh "Ahhh....". The system called the Infinite Improbability Drive is a laugh gas blast. Once it reaches infinite improbability, the ship, Heart Of Gold, will pass simultaneously through every point in the universe. Unfortunately human beings are badly accustomed to not travelling at normality and can be fairly distressed by events around them whilst the improbability drive is working: losing limbs, turning into penguins, planets spontaneously becoming fruitcakes, nuclear missiles metamorphosing into sperm whales and bowls of petunias, and so forth. The best has to be becoming a ball of thread. LOLX!
(But nobody listens or cares anyway...)It seems that the books will give a better picture of the world in HGG. Thanks to Ben who sent me the e-books. Oh ya....good luck to your enlistment! ^^
