Goodbye 2005, Welcome 2006
It is a honour and pleasure to announce that the year 2005 has ended. So much things happened during that year and I got to know more people and understand people even better. Well, for that year, there are a couple of memorable events to remember about like I got my PSP and NDS finally. The departure of my "twin" Timothy. And of course
that day itself.
Days pass like flipping through the pages of a book. A blank page means a fresh start to write something anew. I know that you'll still be reading my blog. So I gonna say it again. I'm sorry. Let's bury the hatchet.
It's been a long while since I celebrated New Year's Eve like the time I did in secondary school. Like crowding around Ngee Ann City or the Fountain of Fortune at Suntec City. The recent years or since we started earning money, we settled ourselves in the comfort of resorts or chalets. This year, we decided to go to Ministry of Sound. Well, I started the ball rolling as I like electronic music. The others followed as it was a new place to loiter about for them. Deli and the rest of the gaming gang were also going to MOS too. But then we didn't get in as there was a massive queue and it will be dampening to countdown in a queue. Once, I had my countdown in a bus on its way to Sentosa...I wondered if Deli's managed to get in after all.
We had supper then decided to watch the fireworks display at the Esplanade. It's seeming amazing how Kenneth led us through the massive crowd that spanned within. We went in from the far back, tunnelled our way through and there we were....metres away from the river. The down part was that there wasn't any countdown. Everyone screamed and roared the moment the first array of light burst in the dark sky. It went on for a steady 10 minutes. I liked a particular segment where a rain of blue lights burst, falls and spreads across the sky, thus turning the whole sky blue.
Then...we went PartyWorld to sing. It was almost a nightmare. Kenneth was playin around with the controls till a staff asked us if there was anything wrong with the equipment. Not to mention the
earth-shattering prowess of my beloved buddies who thought they can be the next Andy Lau or whatever. I merely sang all those I know. We ordered beer as the main intention was to get drunk...but not for me as I have to work. Poor me...New Year Day and I have to work.
Sob... Then we ate again at Lau Pa Sat. Stingray! And
awfully SPICY! Finally, home sweet home.
Talking about my resolutions for 2006....hmm...of course less troubles for me. All those things left undone during 2005 will be done this year. Hopefully, I get to meet my girl 'cos too much
pressure from the guys. And finally....lose some weight.
Oops, I forgot.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!Labels: Life
