"Fallen Wings"
I see the land before me.
Like a neverending eternity.
I take a single step,
A gentle breeze greets me.
I take another step,
The sun lights up my path ahead.
My arms stretch out in joy,
To embrace my love waiting.
My wings free themselves,
To fly to my love.
But they are mocked,
'Cos they are not whole.
So I begin to dream,
That I can fly.
I'll never see my love,
'Cos my wings can't fly.Well, I don't know what hit me today to type the above. But it kinda sums up how I look at my life. Or maybe it's due to the reason that a lot of people will be making lifelong choices later. The O level results are out. For me, I didn't have much of a choice back then. Tried but failed again. So all I can do is wish all the people and Daniel who will be collecting their results later all the best for their futures.
