A New Bus Driver
This just happened not long ago. And I swear it did happen.
I met up with Brandon to pass him his and Brendam's games. Then I took the feeder bus back home. I sat just right behind the bus driver. I was so deep in thoughts that I didn't realise the bus had stopped till the bus driver called me. I was pretty confused and wondering what had I done...
(I did pay my fare ho...)...till I saw that the bus had stopped in the right side of the road. On the far left was the bus stop next to NYP. The bus driver asked me in Hokkien...
Driver: Erm boy
(Heehee...), am I supposed to stop here?
Me:
(Still confused) Huh?
Driver: Am I supposed to stop here?
(Pointing at the bus stop on the left)Me: Nope.
Driver: Oh! Thanks!
The feeder bus is not supposed to stop at that bus stop. It went on route successfully after. Well, it was his luck that I'm a resident but what if I'm not? I can't imagine the mayhem that may happen. The driver happened to look like a retiree and I think I never see him before. So he must be a new driver. After telling him that, he seemed still pretty panicked. I was also starting to worry that if I will get back home or not. I almost wanted to help him out by giving directions.
Oh ya talking about buses, it seems that I always board the same bus back home with a guy who stays in my area as well. That guy also noticed it too. I was wondering if we can be friends just like that? LOL....
