The Jinx, The Tube and The Rice Dumplings
I thought that my life had ended for me since the day she quitted. Thanks to those who told me to brace myself and move on. I really want a happy life but then fate just loves to bully me. My new colleague is an extraordinary being. He is an absolute....
SLACKER!!!! A living
SLUG. I really can't understand how he likes the way he handle things like the shop and how he works. Firstly, he's a complete idiot. Secondly, he's slow in both physically and mentally. Lastly, he makes a mess of the shop by ordering inapproriate items and leaving stocks around the shop. To think that he once handled singlehandedly an outlet before that outlet closed down.
Gosh! Now I know why that outlet closed.
Everyone's sticking to their monitor nowadays. Other than playing online games, chatting or doing work, there's a new reason. Youtube. Or simply an online video sharing network. Well, I didn't get into it till one of my customer told me about watching the Tammy video in there. Sometimes, I do hear my peers talking about it. Well, a browse through Youtube and you can find all kinds of stuffs inside. Since that the site is based on video uploaded by users, you can find very interesting homemade videos and sometimes...nasty ones too. But a rather unique thing is that some users actually uploaded past movies and animations. Which make Youtube a site to reminsce the past and our childhood again. Imagine watching the first episode of the Visionaries. Or even M.A.S.K. Smurfs anyone? LOL.
It's the time of the year that you see small green pyramids filled with delicious pork and rice hanging almost anywhere. Yup, Dumpling Festival is here. I had my load of delicious rice dumplings when I got back work on that day itself. Actually, it doesn't mean that to eat rice dumplings, it must be on that day. But then, to eat and celebrate on that day has its own significance and story. But to me, it's also an important day and especially one that I will never forget. It's also my mother's death anniversary. Not many people will experience mixed feelings on that particular day like me. She used to make rice dumplings and they are the best. I still remembers I used to help to pick out the bad rice from a packet of rice. I also tried to wrap one myself and they ended up in different sizes. She would joke about making losses if she would sell them off. LOL! ......It has been a long eight years without her. I will still remember her and miss her always.
Alright, it took a while for me to think of a heading that I took from The Witch, The Lion and The Wardrobe. I still haven't watched X-Men 3 and I am already hearing too much spoilers. Hope Kenneth will call later~~ ^^:
