A Slap To The End

It came as a shock to me when I read the news in the forum. My gaming friend, Wilson Chia, is being kicked out of CGS(Championship Gaming Series) after slapping his general manager in the face. To refresh people's memory, he is the 2nd place in DoAU in WCG2005 held in Singapore.

According to information gathered everywhere, he had been under tremendous stress due to the poor management of the general manager who himself originated as a champion for the game Project Gotham Racing. And to add matter worse, the GM had been breaking all rules and regulations to get his fiance to play along with him. The slap took place when his fiance lost the match held in China terribly and Wilson couldn't take it anymore. CGS banned him from the game without any investigation and with immediate effect. I'm quite surprised that he got a lot of fans worldwide that supports his reason. Now most of them are wishing that he will be able to join CGS again.

It's really disgusting that a game can be taken so politically and monetary. A game is created that everyone will have fun playing. Actually, a week back, a similar case had happened to one of my gaming friends. Some people just are unable to differentiate between reality and virtual reality anymore...
